Nuffnang Premiere Screening of The Expendables 3

As you can see from the title above,  I attended the premiere screening of Expendables 3 thanks to Nuffnang!

Initially I was a bit skeptical about the movie, because my friends told me the previous one was not that good. But when I saw the poster..

OH WOW
Look at the number of actors! (And one actress lolol) AAAAND is that Kellan Lutz omg he's sucha hottie!

Movie Summary
Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables' most personal battle yet

The movie itself was such a blast! I did not expect it to be so funny and entertaining (yes, unbelievably funny!). There are times where the entire cinema hall just erupts into laughter :D

Although Barney (Sylvester Stallone) was quite, erhem, aged, he still managed to perform the action scenes incredibly. I guess the years of experiences he had really did him a good favour! Not to forget Christmas (Jason Statham), his accent is to die for, although he didn't quite fit in with the old Expendables, he should be in the young crowd!

Jet Li unexpectedly starred in the movie too. Was shocked when he came out and nearly died laughing when Barney commented on his height. Turns out in the end he was a gay couple with Arnold Schwarzenegger wtf!!!! (I'm sure I did not misinterpret HAHAHA) So it was super hilarious when they hugged each other with affection!

The tix thanks to Nuffnang! And credits to Douglas haha.

Did not take any pictures with my phone coz someone got a new camera!

My poop face wtf

with Douglas's colleagues as well

For those who had not watched this movie, go watch it now!
I swear you won't be disappointed haha

Till next time xx

5 Reasons Why Penang is Better Than KL

As a Selangorian, born in Klang, lived in Shah Alam for 2 years before moving to Penang, I am a typical city girl hehe. Now I'm staying in Shah Alam for my internship in KL.

Having lived in Penang for so long, I consider myself a Penangnite at heart. This island, with its delicious local foods and charming people. Penang is a mixture of natural beauty and modern city skyline. Imagine the old heritage buildings occupied by young, modern cafes

Sigh, I miss Penang soooo much sobs. Practically lived there my whole life. Therefore this post is a show of affection towards Penang (no offense KLrians)

Referring to the title above, 5 reasons why Penang is better than KL.

1. NO Traffic Jam

This I no need to justify myself, even KLrians admit that the traffic jam in KL is the worst. Normally the route from Shah Alam to my office takes 35 minutes without jam, so with slight jam it takes about 50 minutes, but there was once several cars broke down along the way home and it took me 2 fucking hours to get home! 2 HOURS MAN my butt was sore for like the whole night. Ish.

2. Delicious and Cheap Food

Penang is undoubtedly a food paradise. Imagine all the food you can get there, hokkien mee, laksa, char koay teow, curry mee.....omg I'm salivating all over my lappie wtf. And most importantly they're damn cheap! Normally one bowl of hokkien mee costs about RM3+ while here in KL one standard bowl of mee starts from RM5. #BrokeStayingInKL

3. NO Need to Pay Toll

Aha! You know how much I spend for toll a day? RM2.10! Even after taking small roads and avoiding the highway as much as possible wtf. Not to mention there will always be a jam after passing the toll coz so many lanes have to be directed to only 2 lanes. In Penang you'll only pay the toll when entering Penang island through Penang Bridge. No toll in Penang island itself although we've got several highways. So good you see!

4. Coexisting with Nature
In Penang, you can choose to go to the beach at Batu Ferringhi, take the cable car to Penang Hill, visit the goat farm, shop at various shopping malls etc. Penang is an island that offers a variety of entertainment no matter in the wilds (LOL) or in the city.

AND the last reason why Penang is better than Kl, is that

5. Memories
Its true that I had stayed in Penang for as long as I remember, so there were plenty of memories that I created here with my friends and family. I went to school in Penang, it was only until National Service that I left Penang to go to Langkawi for 3 months. And started my uni life in Tanjung Malim straightly after. For almost 18 years, Penang was my home. And I guess it will always be  So excuse my obvious biasness in this post hehehe.

LOVE YOU xx

Can't wait to go back as internship is ending soon. Come to mama all the yummy food

Till then xx

Haul Part 2

Woohoo!!
August is my month

My birthday is coming *hinthint* hahaha

I know I've not post much lately, its, erm, because I'm quite busy interning wtf.

Okla its because I'm procrastinating la. *GiveUpOnMyself*

Raya hols is like a week ago and all I do is go out with friends and eat and be a couch potato.
WHY AM I SO LAZY FML

Anyways, here I am! Have tons of work but still got time to blog hehe.

As you can see the title of the post is haul!

From Twenty3
(No I'm not advertising for them, this post is purely based on my opinion heh)
It's a online shop based in Malaysia.
Now they're having sales!
Shoulda post this earlier coz some of the stuff are sold out already fml.
But go have a look coz y'know the dresses I bought are rm28 each with free shipping!
CHEAP DAOOO

Sweetheart Dress RM28 (SoldOut)

Le sis modelling. HAHAHA
I told her she look short and she was pissed off.

Taught her how to pose and there, she looks taller, no?
*smirks*

Love the prints and the colour, burgandy.
The quality is reaaally good for the price. And there's a inner lining too!

Love love love the tartan print! Main reason why I bought it haha
(which is also the In Thing this season btw)

I ordered a size M, so its a bit loose on me.
But I'm sure I cannot fit size S, so...

The dress is really flattering, just that the sleeves are quite tight.
Or isit that I'm fat ._.

Oh me n my sis are wearing the shoes that I bought on Taobao. She's a size 5 and I'm a size 8.5 but we still can share shoes see how 'jimat' (thrifty) are we *proud*

Well, I'm satisfied with my buys (altho its kinda impulsive buying hahaha)
and I'm quite surprised by the awesome quality of the dresses, not too thin but not too thick either. So it's comfy as well. And not to mention they have free shipping with no minimum amount of purchase! (em only)

Well, whatcha waiting for? Buy now and regret later!!! (which you prolly never will hehe)

Haul part 1 (Taobao) here

Till then, xx
